What you can do with it
You can use Simple Meme for any legal purpose — personal, commercial, educational, or anything else. Make as many memes as you want. There is no daily limit, no quota, and no fee. The output PNG is yours.
License
The source code of Simple Meme is released under the MIT License. You are free to fork it, modify it, host it yourself, and redistribute it, as long as you keep the copyright notice. The output of the tool is yours and has no license attached — you own the memes you make.
Disclaimer
Simple Meme is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the tool. The tool processes everything in your browser, so the authors have no way to recover lost work or undownloaded images — save your meme as soon as you make it.
Your content
You are responsible for the photos you upload and the captions you write. Do not use Simple Meme to create content that is illegal, defamatory, or that infringes on someone else\'s rights. The authors do not moderate content because the authors never see the content.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms in a material way, we will change the date below. Minor clarifications may happen silently.
